Terry L. Hopper, D.D.S., is a native Iowan, growing up in Vinton, Iowa. He attended the University of Iowa, earning both a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Dental Degree. He did a rotating dental internship at the V.A. Hospital in Iowa City before doing his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Wood V.A. Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Following the completion of his residency, Dr. Hopper stayed on staff in the residency program in a teaching position for 2 years. He entered private practice, coming to Fort Dodge in 1983.

Dr. Terry Hopper is Board Certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Hopper is very active in his church and community.

He has served on numerous boards, including past member Trinity Regional Foundation, past member Trinity Regional Hospital Board, past president of the Medical Staff at Trinity Regional Hospital, and past president of the Iowa Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

In Dr. Hopper's spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, golf, theatre and travel.
